Halloween and Fall Celebrations Part 1!!!: (October 2012)

This month you and Lawrence did so many fun things to celebrate fall and halloween!! Get ready, Mommy took a lot of pictures of you and Lawrence!

The first thing we did was go to the pumpkin patch with Colin & Ellie and your playgroup.

These are my two favorite pictures from the morning:

You had SO much fun with Colin and loved spending time with him! 

You had a small Halloween party at your house and your friends Keira, Ella, Adelyn, and Lillian came dressed in their costumes. You had so much fun and were excited to dress up like a candy corn!!

Mommy bought Lawrence a candy corn onesie so that you two would match:) In this picture, you are trying to explain to Lawrence to look up at the camera and smile:

After everyone finished eating, you decorated craft pumpkins with markers and stickers:

After decorating pumpkins, Daddy read everyone a few Halloween books:

Then we did some pumpkin bowling down the hallway:

Then it was time to decorate the Halloween cookies...your favorite part!

Everyone had a great time at your party!! You were sad when it was over, but I think we'll plan to make this a yearly tradition.

Briana's 1st Real Haircut: October 2012

Today you got your hair cut for the first time after letting it grow for almost 3 years!!! You had your bangs cut when you were almost one, but your hair has been growing for a long time.

Grammie just recently had her hair cut, and after seeing Grammie's hair, you wanted your hair cut too!

Of course Mommy took lots of pictures!!

When we first walked in, they told you to choose a movie to watch, which you were excited to do, and you chose Clifford. The hair stylist then took you to get your hair washed:

After your hair was washed, you then sat in the chair and watched Clifford as your hair was cut:

Then the hair stylist started braiding your hair so that you would have a "Princess Hair Do":

Then you got to choose pretty flowers that were put in your hair:

Lawrence is 6 Months Old!!! (October 17, 2012)

Lawrence, you are 6 months old!!!! You are growing into such a big boy with such a sweet and happy personality!!!

You look like such a big boy compared to your sock monkey:

At six months old, you:

***are still wearing 6-12 month clothes and wearing size 3 Pampers diapers

***are still definitely teething although still no teeth:(

***are still reaching for objects constantly and can now rotate your body around to reach for them

***are still falling asleep on either Mommy (or PopPop) for naps. Mommy is now putting you in your bassinet at 8pm every night and you fall asleep after about a minute of crying

***have stayed very healthy so far. Both Mommy and Daddy and Briana have all gotten colds and coughs and Daddy even had the flu, but you've been healthy:)

Lawrence's 1st Trip to PA!!: (October 10-15, 2012)

Lawrence, Mommy was so excited to take you with me to PA for the first time! Nanna planned a surprise party for PopPop, and we were going back for five days so that we could be at his 65th birthday party.
We had to wake up really early to get to the airport, and Daddy took this picture of us with Briana at the airport:

It was hard for Mommy to say goodbye to Briana because I had never been away from her for so long, but Briana was very excited to spend special one on one time with Daddy!

Mommy doesn't have any pictures of you while you were in the plane, but you did such a wonderful job flying!! You didn't cry one time on either plane ride, and you mostly just breast fed and slept.

Lawrence, you loved spending time with your Nanna and PopPop!!:

You normally sleep on Mommy during your naps, but you let your PopPop hold you for this one:

And here is a cute picture of you & Mommy, and our family picture at PopPop's birthday party. It was a little overwhelming for you with all the people and loud noises, so you did cry more than normal, but were happy when Mommy or PopPop was holding you, and you eventually fell asleep.

We both had such a wonderful time visiting Nanna & PopPop! Next time, we'll have to take your sister along with us!!!

While we were in PA, Briana was spending special time with Daddy. Here are a few pictures that Daddy sent me while we were away.

Apple Picking!!!: (September 29, 2012)

Today our whole family went to Julian to pick apples!!! It was the first time for both you and Lawrence. Both of you had so much fun!

Here you are looking very serious as Mommy and Daddy explained the steps of apple picking...

But then I think you had a smile on your face the rest of the time! Daddy is so much fun!

You did such a wonderful job picking apples, and you had SO MUCH FUN with Ella!

While you were having fun with Ella, Lawrence was trying to pick apples with Daddy. It was the first time Lawrence had seen apples, and he was very interested in trying to pick one and examine it...sooo cute!

After you and Ella filled both of your bags with apples, we went into town to eat ice cream. It was such a hot day and ice cream was the perfect thing to help cool off.

After you finished every last bite of your ice cream, we went to buy Mommy apple cider and you had so much fun playing outside with Daddy.

Mommy and Daddy had so much fun with you, and we can't wait to take you and Lawrence again next year!!!
