Your 1st Gingerbread Party!: (December 3, 2012)

This is the first year you had your girlfriends over for a gingerbread party and everyone had so much fun!!

Mommy would love for this party to be one of our holiday traditions! Mommy couldn't resist buying personalized gingerbread men plates and aprons:)

Before you decorated your giant gingerbread men, you did a few crafts. There was a felt gingerbread ornament to decorate, various felt gingerbread stickers to put on a red background, and a gingerbread house scene to decorate with stickers.  There were also gingerbread related tattoos, but Mommy forgot about those so your friends each took some home.

After all the crafts, it was time to decorate your gingerbread men!!!

After decorating, it was time to play before lunch. Playing doctor with your friends in your new house from Nana and PopPop was your favorite activity.

The kids ate peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese sandwiches with bananas and juice, and the moms ate yummy chicken strata and broccoli that Nana made with peppermint punch.

After lunch, you went outside to eat your gingerbread cookies:

For the last activity, Allison read you the book "Gingerbread Baby" and Mommy gave everyone their Gingerbread Activity folder.

If you're wondering why Lawrence isn't in any of the pictures, it's because PopPop was taking care of him while Nana was cooking and helping out with the party. Thank you both so much for your help!

Lawrence is 7 Months Old!!!: (November 17, 2012)

Lawrence, you are now 7 months old!!! You have done so many exciting things this past month!!!

First, here is your picture with your sock monkey:

And here you are with your 7 month pictures on the beach!!! 

We loved taking you to the beach for the first time!! You really loved sitting and playing in the sand, but did not like the cold ocean water at all, and cried the whole time that Daddy had you near the water.

At seven months old, you:

***just started wearing 12-18 month clothes and are still wearing size 3 pampers diapers

***still don't have any teeth

***can sit up by yourself now for long periods of time

***have started going to bed (your bassinet) at 6pm. After Mommy gets you ready and feeds you, you are falling asleep at 6pm without any crying before hand.

You are still taking your naps on Mommy or in your car seat.

***have had your first cold:(

***have started eating solid foods!!!:) You are eating Stage 1 baby pureed food, and so far you have liked everything I've given you.

You also like to eat your finger foods of baby mum mums, cheerios, and your favorite snack is Gerber graduates fruit & veggie melts:

***have sat in your first park swing and LOVED it!

***have started getting in the crawling position:)

We better get ready!! You are going to be a very active little boy who gets into everything after you learn how to crawl!

Your 1st Trip to Disneyland!!! (Nov 10-11, 2012)

Mommy & Daddy were so excited to take you and Lawrence to Disneyland!!! Your Uncle Billy gave us a very generous gift certificate which made it much easier for us to go. We also celebrated Daddy's 31st birthday and Mommy & Daddy's 5th anniversary during this trip.

You were sooooo excited to go to Disneyland and Lawrence was pretty happy about it too!

The first day we went to California Adventure. Here are my two favorite pictures:

We stayed overnight at the Anabella Hotel, which was about a 10 minute walk to Disneyland, and you loved staying in the hotel and having your own little room. You were also excited you had your own TV:

We went to Disneyland on our 2nd day. Here are some of Mommy's favorite pictures:

Your favorite part was definitely riding all the fun rides!! A lot you were able to do on your own, and many you rode with Daddy! Mommy mainly stayed with Lawrence while you were on the rides.

I love these pictures of Lawrence. He looks so cute in his Mickey Mouse outfit and he is always so happy!

You love your brother so much and are always trying to touch him and play with him when you are together:

When we were leaving Disneyland to walk back to our hotel, the firework show started, and you watched a few without being scared! You thought all the different colors looked pretty and you told us you weren't scared of fireworks anymore:) We had so much fun taking you to Disneyland and we can't wait to take you both again!!!

Halloween Day 2012

Today was SOOOOO much fun for you!!! Ella had a halloween party at her house in the morning and then you went trick or treating in the evening!

Mackenzie planned such a fun party for Ella with so many cute details that Mommy loved!

Mommy really loved the picture frame idea:

After Ella's party, you went home and took a nap and then after you woke up kept asking when Daddy would be home so that you could go trick or treating.  You were so excited!!!

You were so excited going from house to house and looking to see which houses had their lights on, and we were out 1 1/2 hours.
