Mommy had a hard time keeping up with you today on the playground as you ran around doing so many different things! You tried several times to put a basketball into the hoop:
You had fun playing with the really big water table:
You loved to have Mommy push you in the tire swing:
And you enjoyed playing with the different bubble wands:
All the activities inside were focused on using your senses (using your eyes to see, your ears to listen, your nose to smell, your tongue and mouth to taste, and your body to feel/touch). Mommy wasn't able to get pictures during all the activities, but here are pictures of some of your favorites.:
Using scented markers to draw a picture. You had fun taking the cap off the different colors and putting them up to your nose to smell them:
Using shaving cream to paint on a textured piece of bubble paper:
Playing with kool aid scented play doh which smelled really good:
Playing dress up...all by yourself, you took off your shoes and put on boots, and put on a pair of sunglasses, several bracelets, a medal, and a purse over your arm:
You also tried on a hat, but it was too big:
You made a picture by putting lots of different textured objects on sticky contact paper:
And you had fun putting on a construction hard hat and a tool belt:
This might be Mommy's last preschool with you before Lawrence is born, or I may be able to go with you next week too if he doesn't come by Tuesday. Mommy is so thankful that I had this opportunity to take you to preschool every week and share in all the fun moments you've had! Preschool is one of your favorite places to go, and I have loved spending that time with you!

Easter Celebrations (April 2012)
You did so many fun things to celebrate Easter this year!! You loved dressing up in clothes with bunnies on them and participating in lots of Easter egg hunts!
The first Easter party/Easter egg hunt we went to was with your Monday playgroup. We all went over to Jen and Cameron's house. There was so many fun toys to play with, yummy food, and an Easter egg hunt!
Here you are before we left the house in your pretty bunny dress, wearing your matching bunny clip, and holding your bunny Easter basket:
You had so much fun in Cameron's backyard hanging from the swing set, blowing bubbles, and climbing a rock wall:
Mommy didn't get any pictures during the Easter egg hunt because I was taking a video, but here is a picture of you after the hunt looking in your basket:
And a group picture with all your playgroup friends:
Then a few days later Mommy taught friend school about Easter and you and your friends did fun Easter activities and crafts and then went on an Easter egg hunt.
The day before Easter, Mommy and Daddy took you to the park for another Easter egg hunt with the 4S Moms Group:
On Easter morning, you discovered that the Easter Bunny came!!! He left a trail of eggs from the front door to the Easter basket he left on your bed:
All the eggs he left you were filled with pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters, which you put in your cupcake bank right away:
The Easter bunny brought you a little bunny book, a new pair of sneakers, and a big sugar cookie with M&Ms that was shaped like an Easter egg:
You asked to eat your cookie right away:
Later in the afternoon, we went to Grammie's house for Easter dinner. After dinner, you went for another Easter egg hunt in Grammie's backyard, and you had so much fun playing with the water table that Grammie bought you and JJ for Easter:
Mommy and Daddy had so much fun watching your excitement during all the Easter activities! We love you so much!!!!!!

Junior Carlsbad Diaper Dash: March 31, 2012
Today was the day of your "Big Race"!! This is the second year that you've run in the "Diaper Dash", which is a race for children two and under. Ken & Lara told us about the race last year, and we asked Keira to run the race with you last year. Keira ran with you again this year too!
Here is a picture of you with Daddy and Mommy this year before the race:
Here is a picture of all of us last year before the race:
Mommy looks a little bigger in this years picture because Mommy has your baby brother in her belly! Mommy is 37 weeks pregnant during your race this year.
Here is a picture of you and Daddy and Allison and Keira waiting for the race to begin this year:
And here is last years picture:
This is Mommy's favorite race picture of you this year...you did such an awesome job running as soon as the race began and you ran the whole way!:
This is Mommy's favorite picture from last year:
Right after the race wearing your medals:
Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! We are excited for the race again next year and baby Lawrence will be with us for that one!
Friend School (March 30, 2012): Rainbows
Today friend school was at your house and Mommy was the teacher! We learned all about rainbows.
You were excited when you woke up and saw that Mommy put up new pictures...you immediately went over to check them out:
All of your friends helped name the different colors of the rainbow:
Then everyone put rainbow stickers all over the picture:
After Mommy read a few books and we all sang a few of our favorite songs: "If You're Happy and You Know It", "The Alphabet Song" and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider", it was rainbow activity time.
Everyone colored on the "R is for Rainbow" page:
Lillian enjoyed sorting the three different sizes of rainbows:
And you really liked making play doh rainbows:
Here is a picture of you putting stickers on your rainbow picture:
After the activities, everyone was excited to finally have snack time! Mommy gave everyone rainbow colored goldfish, string cheese, and green apples:
Our craft was making a fruit loop rainbow picture:
Mommy thought friend school went very well today and we get to have your friends over again next week when Mommy teaches friend school again for Easter!
