Preschool (April 10, 2012): Senses

Mommy had a hard time keeping up with you today on the playground as you ran around doing so many different things! You tried several times to put a basketball into the hoop:

You had fun playing with the really big water table:

You loved to have Mommy push you in the tire swing:

And you enjoyed playing with the different bubble wands:

All the activities inside were focused on using your senses (using your eyes to see, your ears to listen, your nose to smell, your tongue and mouth to taste, and your body to feel/touch).  Mommy wasn't able to get pictures during all the activities, but here are pictures of some of your favorites.:

Using scented markers to draw a picture. You had fun taking the cap off the different colors and putting them up to your nose to smell them:

Using shaving cream to paint on a textured piece of bubble paper:

Playing with kool aid scented play doh which smelled really good:

Playing dress up...all by yourself, you took off your shoes and put on boots, and put on a pair of sunglasses, several bracelets, a medal, and a purse over your arm:

You also tried on a hat, but it was too big:

You made a picture by putting lots of different textured objects on sticky contact paper:

And you had fun putting on a construction hard hat and a tool belt:

This might be Mommy's last preschool with you before Lawrence is born, or I may be able to go with you next week too if he doesn't come by Tuesday.  Mommy is so thankful that I had this opportunity to take you to preschool every week and share in all the fun moments you've had! Preschool is one of your favorite places to go, and I have loved spending that time with you!
