Lawrence is 5 Months Old!!! (September 17, 2012)

Lawrence, you are now 5 months old!!!! Mommy just can't believe how fast the time is going!

You didn't try to put the sock monkey in your mouth this time, but your pictures are a little blurry because you were moving around so much:) I love your big smiles...you are such a happy little boy!

At five months old, you:

*** are now wearing 6-12 month clothes and are still wearing size 2 Pampers diapers.

*** are still trying to put everything you can reach into your mouth. You are definitely teething!

*** can now easily reach out for an object you want and try to immediately put it in your mouth.

*** have decided you don't like your swing anymore and cry now whenever I try to put you in. You definitely prefer falling asleep on Mommy when you're at home but can also fall asleep easily in your car seat when we're out of the house.

*** are becoming so vocal, especially with your Daddy and sister. You have almost mimicked sounds that sound like Hi and Daddy when Daddy talks to you, and you have a special baby language with Briana.

*** just love when Daddy holds you!

***have started sitting in the highchair so you can be at the dining room table for meals.

***love playing in your "baby area".

***are with Mommy everywhere I go, (which Mommy loves!), and you've even been to two baby showers with me this month.

Briana's 1st Day of Fall Preschool & Interview Questions: (August 21, 2012)

Today was your first day of fall preschool at Incarnation Lutheran Church!!!

You are in Miss Trudy and Miss Justine's 2 year old preschool class and you were so excited to go see them again!! (You had just taken a week break after finishing the five week summer session)

Lawrence is 4 Months Old!!! (August 17, 2012)

Lawrence, you are 4 months old!!! Every day you reveal more and more of your sweet little personality!

It was a little harder for me to take pictures of you this month with your sock monkey because you kept grabbing him and trying to put him in your mouth...so cute!!!!

At four months old, you:

*** are still wearing 3-6 or 6 month clothes and are wearing Pampers size 2 diapers

*** are now trying to put almost everything you can reach into your mouth

*** are getting better gross motor control of your arms and hands, and can now reach for and grasp objects

*** have started to lift your head up occasionally while you are eating to look at Mommy and smile... it is one of the sweetest things ever!

*** have rolled from back to front about five times in the past month

*** are allowing almost all women to hold you, but have started crying when men (other than Daddy) try to hold you

*** enjoy your time in the jumperoo (your feet touch the ground at the lowest setting) and you can

move yourself around in the circle while you look at and try to manipulate all the toys

*** are starting to enjoy tummy time a lot more and can now hold your head and chest up for five

minutes

*** love sitting in your new BLUE bumbo seat (thank you Lacy:)

Popsicle Party!!! (August 5, 2012)

Today was finally the day of your big popsicle party!!! Mommy and Daddy wanted to have a special party for you to celebrate our new house!!! We told you that you could invite all of your friends! Mommy made special popsicle invitations and then you helped me take them to the post office and put them in the mailbox!

Almost all of your friends were able to come...Keira, Ella, Liam, Adelyn, Baby Owen, Vash, Drake, Dahlia, and Tess! Lillian and Cassidy weren't able to come and Colin got sick at the last minute:(

Lawrence was also able to invite a friend, so his friend Ellie came too! Ellie looked so cute in her new popsicle shirt she wore just for the occasion:)

Lawrence is 3 Months Old!!! (July 17, 2012)

You are already three months old!!! I love this picture of you!! I can almost always count on a smile now...you are such a happy little boy!!

At three months old, you:

**** weigh 13 1/2 pounds

**** now eat about every two hours during the day (rather than every three) because you are growing so fast, and can now sleep for a 6 hour stretch

**** are still wearing 3-6 or 6 month clothes and are wearing Pampers size 1 diapers

**** continue to smile so much and have now started to laugh...it is the cutest sound!!! You first laughed with Daddy during your bath, and now you laugh with either of us or Briana a lot more often.

**** have been doing an awesome job during tummy time, and can now hold your head and chest up for 2 minute stretches

**** have discovered your fingers, and have been trying really hard to get them in your mouth, but you don't quite have that control yet

**** just love your sister so much! Whenever she is around, you watch her attentively and smile almost every time she interacts with you! The only exception is when Briana holds you. She just loves holding you and is getting pretty good at it, but you still look a little scared:

We all love you soooooooooooo much!!!!!!!

4th of July 2012: Lots of Pictures!

Today Keira's entire family came over (even Jack!) for breakfast and you had so much fun playing with Keira!! Noah took lots of really great pictures!!

Picking Strawberries: (July 1, 2012)

Today our whole family drove to the Carlsbad Strawberry Fields so that you could pick strawberries!! We knew you would love doing this, and you totally did!

You were so excited when they gave you a bucket and you wanted to get started right away, but of course Mommy had to take a picture first!

Daddy loves spending time with you:

We arrived early, so you had almost all the strawberries to yourself:

Once Daddy explained how to pick the best strawberries, you got started. You did such a good job examining each one to find the best!

You really wanted to taste one, and kept pretending that you were going to:

The first thing you wanted to do when you got home was to make another little cake with strawberries on top. Daddy taught you how to wash the strawberries and then you made another cake.

We had so much fun watching you pick strawberries today! We will do this with you every year and maybe next year Lawrence can help you:)
