First Friend School (February 3, 2012): Ants

Today was your first day at Friend School!!! You are in school with Lillian, Max, and George and we had our first meeting at Lora's house. Lora taught you all about ants, and you had so much fun learning and playing with your friends!

Lora made everyone a really cute little personalized circle to sit on...yours has the letter B with a cupcake on it:

You also wanted to look more closely at the ant book Lora was reading:

Lora taught everyone how to use a magnifying glass to prepare for us to find ants out in her backyard. You really liked the magnifying glass and figuring out how to use it:

After Lora taught us about ants, it was time to do a few ant activities and go play!

After playtime, it was time to clean up and wash your hands. You all did such a great job working together to clean up!

Then it was snack time! Lora read you a book while all of you ate the Ants on a Log snack (which is pretzel rods with peanut butter for the log and raisins for the ants):

After snack time, everyone sat down at the table to make a collage of picnic foods using pictures of different foods and glue, and then you got to put an ant stamp all over your collage. You were so excited to make this collage for Daddy!
