Preschool (January 31, 2012): Trinkets

Today was such a fun day at preschool!!! You were so excited to play outside as soon as we arrived and you immediately found the bikes and started riding:

There were sparkly pieces all over the sand, and you loved collecting them and looking at each one before you put them in the bucket:

You also enjoyed playing at the bubble table with Ariana and your teacher showed you how to use the bubble wand:

The first activity you wanted to do inside was play with shaving cream. It was your first time doing this and you enjoyed putting it all over your hands and arms and all over the paper:

Then you found the paint (which you always love!) and enjoyed stamping heart shapes on your paper, dipping your brush in the paint, and using a paint roller.

You practiced sorting by putting items from the basket onto the "Big" or "Little" papers:

You had the opportunity to put pegs into styrofoam and use a hammer to hammer the pegs down, but you became easily frustrated with the hammer and you preferred to put the pegs into holes that were already there:

You loved Q-Tip Painting on the mirror! After you were done painting on the mirror, you used a paper towel and water spray bottle to clean the mirror. This is something easy we can do at home too!

You practiced putting medal circles on different hooks:

You love exploring all the different sensory tables each week! This week you played with a cooking sensory table:

After cleaning up, washing your hands, and eating your snack, we had closing circle time and a fun movement song where you danced around with a streamer:
