Preschool (February 7, 2012): Hearts

You had so much fun at preschool today doing all sorts of heart activities and crafts!!! Mommy is happy you wore a pink shirt and pink pants to match all the red and pink activities:)

The first activity you ran over to was a matching teddy bear hearts activity:

Next you painted purple and white circles on a heart, and all the paint stayed on the paper:)

You really enjoyed playing in the pink cornstarch and water mixture! When the pink mixture was in the container it was more solid, and when you put your hands in, your body heat turned it into a liquid...so neat!!

You spent the most time making a heart collage. You are getting really good at putting the glue on your paper and then sticking the fun items onto the glue. Today you put pom poms, glitter heart pieces, and  pink and red hearts all over your collage.

The Play Doh table was so cute with the Valentine's place mats and the pink play doh. You practiced using the roller and using a heart shaped cookie cutter.

The last activity you did was making Valentine's cards for both Daddy and Grammie. You are always so excited to draw pictures and make cards for other people, and it is so awesome to see how happy it makes you when you're able to give it to them. Daddy and Grammie both really loved their cards!

You had so much fun at circle time at the end!! We sang several songs: Tommy Thumb, an I Love You song where everyone held a heart, and we sang Ring Around the Rosie for the first time, and you loved falling over each time!
